The American Textile History Museum
When I went to the American Textile History Museum I did lots of things. I saw a pretty glowing dress. The dress was really yellow, but it glowed different colors when the lights went on. The museum had a little room with things in it to make it look like general store from the eighteenth century. It had questions about life at that time and you looked around the store to answer them. The museum had pictures and stories about people who worked in mills in the nineteenth century. There was one section of the museum that talked about baseballs. Did you know that baseballs have wool inside of them? There was a really interesting video that talked all about baseballs and how to test them to make sure nobody messed them up or "juiced" them. One part of the museum had all different types of old kites. It talked about people who invented the first flying machines. Those are some of the great things I saw inside the American Textile History Museum.
