Gardening
Today we are planning what vegetables we will grow in our new vegetable garden this spring. Here are two gardening books that we really like. We recommend that you read them.
Liddea in Monet's Garden
The Secret Garden
Mommy is going to get me a book about fairy houses this spring. We are going to build some fairy houses near our peonies. Elina lives in a peony. Maybe she will come to visit us.
Hi Lorelei, What are you going to plant in your vegetable garden? If I had a garden I would plant tomatos and peppers and peas. I would also plant squash and eggplant and onions. Maybe some broccoli too. I love broccoli. What do you like to eat? I love you, Gramma Esther
We are going to plant corn, tomatoes and all of the other vegetables you said. We are also going to plant a sunflower patch. It will be a house for Ella and me to play in.
Hi Lorelei, When your mommy and I were little, we used to also have cucumbers in our garden and gramma Esther used to turn some of them into yummy pickles. Do you like pickles? Are you going to plant cucumbers? My favorite plants to have are berry plants. We used to have raspberry plants. When we move to Philadelphia, I want to plant some berry plants in our backyard. love, aunt Liz
